Wait A Minute I've Still Got A Bit Of Suffering To Do... Just... Ok I'm Good

What with my blog absence here, well, you might have thought that I was tits up in a field waving my arms plaintively at the skies and yelling obscenities at the world in general as the rain fell pounding down upon me. Or, you might have thought that I was doing something else.

The second one is true, but now I really want to do the first one for a while - y'know, just to recover for a while...

Six months of hard core designing and development can make an owl very serious indeed. And by God I've been serious. I've been hard-working and single-minded to the point that my children hardly know who the muttering man with the machine and the notebooks in the corner is. They learned not to come too near too often though... or the beast would bite!

But it's done! On time, complete, and working... done. Done I tell you. Hahahahahaaaaa! Yes! And they said... they said....

I think I may be getting a bit silly.

Knickers! Whoop! Eh??

Ahem.

So, well, anyway, thing is I'm now a full time self-employed person. I'm no longer on benefits. I'm a business owl. I run the number one ranked PC Technology site on the net. And I'm delighted! It's just ridiculous.

About a year ago, I think some of you may remember, I was feeling quite a bit different. It's a strange old life, and those of us who know the highs and lows of life know that good things happening and actually feeling good don't necessarily coincide, but now they have. So yay, by thunder, yay!

And if you have a minute, come and look at what I did. At what I do. And tell me you love it, because I don't want to hear any of this "constructive" crap. Just tell me how great it is.

!! LINK REMOVED - IT'S GONE !!

Oh ok, be honest if you have to. What the hell, right now I could get run over by a muck-spreader and I'd still think the world was just peachy.

By the way, there's a catch-up of summer photos to be posted shortly - I believe that there has been some sunshine and things recently. So, by the magic of digital photography we can all take a look at what it's been like out there... in the big old real wide world!

For a minute there, I really thought this sentence: "my children hardly know who the muttering man with the machine..." was going to have the word "Gun" right there. Glad it didn't. ;P

The site looks great! Now, go out in some sunshine or something for a bit and play with your kids. :D I'd say you've earned some silly time. But don't forget the sunblock.

Good to see you back again and feeling chipper and thanks for popping round to my blog. You look as though you've been a very busy man and I think the website is most excellent BTW.

I have found something that has cheered me up no end. No, don't worry I'm not born again or anything, I discovered NOT DRINKING. It's fab. I'm happy again. w00t!

trinamick - You betcha! And I keep cutting out more!! :)

NYPinTA - I hadn't thought of that... just a few short bursts into the air ought to get me a little peace and quiet... hehe!

The sun is no friend of mine. The kids are so tanned, but me, I'm just a bit sweaty in the heat. :P

WhiteBoyBob - Cheers, dude!

Not drinking is something that you and I have discovered at much the same time, by the way! Mine's mixed with a hellishly spartan diet plan and a gym regime too... [sigh] It'll drive me to drink in the end. ;)

LOL! Unfortunately may abstinence from alcohol is not backed up by excerise but a steady process of gorging. Admittedly on mainly healthy foods, but over eating none-the-less.

Ha! Y'know, me and Sarah were watching this documentary about American obesity a while ago, set in a clinic for those truly amazing mondo people who really need a barrow for their bellies.

A doctor at the clinic was talking about a patient who couldn't understand why he wasn't losing weight, because, the patient claimed, he only ate "healthy food." When questioned, they discovered that he ate 45 oranges a day.

The doctor shrugged resignedly, saying, "Sure oranges are healthy, but if you eat 45 of anything in a day I guarantee you you will put on weight."

Hmmm... surely an object lesson for us all....! ;P

I came to a conclusion the other day. All pictures should be at random when people arent expecting them cause everyone poses for pictures. For instance you could be having the worst day of your life but you would smile for a photograph and thats missleading people of whats really going on. bad choice of word there but couldent think of a better one. Or you could be having a great day and you pose for a picture without smiling so its not right. The conclusion is : MORE RANDOMNESS PEOPLE! Get whats really going down! (i like my conclusion.)
