Callum Rides Bike!
Sarah took the kids to her mum and dads for tea tonight. They just bought Callum a bigger bike from the market, and it didn't have stabilisers. He's 8, so ok, maybe a little late, but what the hell. He got on that bike, and damn if he didn't ride it. I wasn't there, and nobody took pics, but still, he did it!

Snails Play Football
We had a storm the other night, which always has the effect of rousing our garden's snails into a gathering somewhere. They do like a knees-up, our snails. We don't have the heart to tell them that they don't have any knees.

Mmmm.... Homer Slippers
This new item has had tongues wagging around the globe, and justifiably so. It is the long awaited arrival of the new Homer slippers.
These slippers have a timeless vogue, and yet still are primed in the stolid traditions of the modern married male. People, I ask you to straighten your tie, adjust your boobs, comb your hair, and introduce yourself to the latest status footwear.

Less Hair Do
Went to see an old friend H. yesterday in Halifax, and we chatted about the old days. She used to manage a band I was in, so we had plenty of high times to mull over. H is fantastic. She's a successful, happy, inspirational person, and that's always going to be good to be around.

Revenge of the Silly Names Strikes Back
The Star Wars list of silly names goes on. It would seem that in an old Star Wars TV Special (that shockingly I somehow missed when it was on TV) Chewbacca's family came into the story. His father is named... Itchy. Itchy. Wow.
