Welcome to the personal blog of me, Neil White. I’m a forty-something man who’s had a series of ups and downs in life, pretty much tied around family, music, and bipolar disorder. Hardly a surprise, then, that I tend to write about my kids, music, and mental health. I try to keep posts light-hearted side, but there can be a serious side too.

As a drummer who’s covered many miles in the backs of vans with various bands, I’ve a vested interest in music. I listen to things new, so might evangelise on whatever musical thing has grabbed my attention at the time. Occasionally I talk about my experiences from back on the road.

The world we live in is full of political debate, local and global, and I’m not averse to wading in with my opinions from time to time. I’m not aligned with any particular party, but believing in co-operation, liberty, and community I will naturally discuss, question and debate from those viewpoints.

Once again, welcome to the blog, hope you find it in at least some small way a little interesting, stimulating, entertaining  – or at least diverting.
